Starting your beautiful holiday in the central north-west will be an ideal holiday destination.

Starting early in the morning from the Launceston Airport drive through Carrick to Liffey, upon arrival sit down in the Motor-home and have a short break with a nice hot coffee and morning tea take the walk down the track to look at the magnificent falls that rush down over the rocks surrounded by a rain forest feel along with taking some amazing photos on the way.

Depart Liffey and head for your destination through to Mole Creek driving through old historic towns of Westbury and Deloraine, arriving at Mole Creek only to take a tour through the spectacular Marakoopa Caves just in time for the glow worms tour at midday $19.00 per adult and worth every cent. Both caves are home to a range of fascinating animals which have evolved features which allow them to adapt to their lightless environments. The glow-worm display in Marakoopa Cave is the largest you’ll see in any public access cave anywhere in Australia. For the visitor, the Mole Creek Karst National Park offers a range of activities. Although guided tours of the caves will be high on your agenda, don’t miss the opportunity to take a short walk through the beautiful forests in which these caves occur.

Turning off to head up to Cradle Mountain this superb escape showcases the best Cradle Mountain has to offer with warm hospitality, sensational local food and wine, indulgent spa treatments, breathtaking scenery and magnificent wilderness surrounds. Having the option to sleep in your motor home or enjoy a relaxing night in a lodge or a suite. Unfortunately your time does have to end here leaving early morning (beware roads can be dangerous)

Driving towards Elizabeth Town only to stop at the Christmas Hills Raspberry farm, be sure to sit down and enjoy the surrounding views and the local farm produce of the freshest raspberries in town, including chocolate dipped raspberries, ice-cream and a local beer, cider or even a cocktail.

Driving through to the Ashgrove cheese farm to sample some of the amazing cheeses. Ashgrove Cheese is Australia’s premier producer of award winning Cheddar style cheeses, crafting authentic cheeses by hand on the farm in Tasmania.

Driving through to Anvers chocolate factory, stepping into the taste testing centre to try fine couverture chocolates, truffles, pralines, fudges and more. (Entry is Free, self guided tours are available at no charge But beware – if anyone gets to see the secret recipes they will never be allowed to leave the premises!)

A visit to the famous Reliquaire in Latrobe Tasmania takes you through twenty rooms, stocked with a unique selection of items from around the world including dolls, teddies, giftware, Venetian masks, bronzes, lights, jewellery, leather handbags & wallets, books, soaps & body products, stationary, baby items, toys, games, science & educational products, puppets & marionettes, kitchenware, cookbooks, gourmet food, coffee & tea, Tasmanian wines, homemade fudge, restoration supplies and antiques.

Driving back through to Deloraine stopping at the Deloraine caravan park, taking a friendly walk through Deloraine to see what it has to offer, a nice casual meal at restaurant red, and an enjoyable glass of Tasmania wine.

Departing Deloraine in the morning to your last destination The Country Club Casino Launceston, to enjoy a nice lunch in the Links restaurant and a walk around the extensive grounds of this beautiful casino. (Perhaps a 9 hole round of golf if this is in your interest)

Ending your holiday to head back to the Launceston Airport.
